Job summary

TE Connectivity’s Digital Data Networks (DDN) team seeks a leader to drive reliability engineering across Internal Cable & Connectors products, guiding DFRE and RV methodologies, and collaborating with PDE, MPDE, FAE and AQE to meet mission profiles and customer requirements.

You will oversee test plans from EVT to PVT, coordinate internal and external labs, apply HALT/HAST techniques, and ensure six sigma readiness while pushing for rapid, robust product improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master's degree in a technical discipline (Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics).
• 10+ years of experience in high-speed hardware engineering or related field.
• Experience managing engineering teams in global matrixed environments.
• Experience with test equipment and development of HALT/HAST testing, T&V plans, and reliability analyses.

Responsibilities

• Lead standardized Design for Reliability Engineering (DfRE) and Robustness Validation (RV) methodologies for Internal Cable & Connector products.
• Drive a DFSS culture and provide training, coaching, and mentorship to product design teams.
• Oversee reliability testing strategy, including HALT/HAST, Test to Failure and robustness validation across NPI programs.
• Collaborate with PDE, MPDE, AQE, FAE, and Global R&T COE to align testing plans with TE's LeanPD framework.
• Develop and coordinate detailed Test & Validation (T&V) and Ongoing Reliability Test (ORT) plans across EVT to PVT stages.
• Lead supplier and internal testing coordination with internal labs and external partners.
