Job summary

H3X Technologies is seeking a test engineering intern to support R&D and production testing across the HPDM product line. This role offers full responsibility of a test engineer in a fast-paced, small team. Spring Intern, Summer 2027 and Co-Op options available, with a comprehensive compensation package.

You will establish requirements, design test equipment, and assemble prototypes while collaborating with technicians and engineers to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
• Hands-on experience assembling mechanical systems and with product testing.

Responsibilities

• Establish and document requirements to fulfill testing equipment design needs.
• Design parts and assemblies utilizing SolidWorks.
• Compile complete Bills of Materials; provide technical supply chain support for sourcing hardware.
• Work with technicians and test engineers to build initial prototypes; test prototype equipment for verification.
• Create a test plan and checklist to validate product design targets; support testing execution and interpretation of results.
• Support complete system tests and maintain testing/production equipment; identify workplace hazards and implement safe processes.
