Job summary

H3X Technologies Inc. is seeking a test engineering intern to support R&D and production testing across the HPDM product line.

You will assume full responsibility as a test engineer in a fast-paced, small team environment, with Spring internship and possible Summer 2027 or Co-Op options. Your role includes defining testing requirements, designing test equipment, building prototypes, and validating designs through tests.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar; GPA 3.0+.
• Hands‑on experience assembling mechanical systems.
• Hands‑on experience with product testing.
• SolidWorks proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong fundamentals and willingness to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Establish and document requirements for testing equipment design.
• Conceptualize test equipment designs and test plans.
• Design parts using SolidWorks and assemble prototyping.
• Compile Bills of Materials and source hardware.
• Build prototypes and validate with test plans.
• Interpret test results and recommend design improvements.
• Support complete system tests and maintain safety practices.
