Job summary

Actalent is seeking an R&D Technician for a contract role in Alpharetta, GA. You will support laboratory testing, document results, and help ensure testing activities meet GLP, GDP, and GMP standards. This onsite role focuses on repetitive testing tasks with accurate data entry into LIMS and related databases.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience performing testing and/or inspection in a laboratory setting or manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• Ability to perform repetitive laboratory tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic experience with data entry and documentation in laboratory systems or databases.
• Ability to work independently once training is completed while maintaining compliance with laboratory procedures.
• Understanding of or willingness to learn GLP, GDP, and GMP requirements.

Job Description

The R&D Technician plays a key role in supporting laboratory testing. This position works closely with the lab team to perform product testing accurately, document results, and help ensure that testing activities are completed correctly and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform product testing in accordance with established test methods and laboratory procedures.
• Comply with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Documentation Practice (GDP), and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards after completing training.

• Experience in quality control or laboratory work within a manufacturing or medical device environment is beneficial.

Work Environment

This role is based in a clean, well-lit, modern laboratory environment. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday. Work is performed primarily at a benchtop, involving repetitive testing tasks and continuous documentation of results into a database or LIMS.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Alpharetta, GA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
