Job summary

A premier national lab for science and engineering is seeking a highly-motivated R&D Systems Engineer in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The successful candidate will provide critical contributions throughout the product lifecycle, including requirements engineering and risk analysis, ensuring projects meet stringent security and technical requirements. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and an active DOE Q security clearance. Excellent communication skills and experience with multidisciplinary teams are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Five years of directly relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active DOE Q security clearance or equivalent.
• Experience with Nuclear Security Enterprise laboratories.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical R&D contributions throughout the entire product realization lifecycle.
• Develop requirements traceability reports and validation plans.
• Communicate effectively across multiple roles and technology areas.
