Job summary

Johnsonville LLC is seeking a Summer 2027 R&D Product Development Intern to contribute to packaging engineering and sensory/consumer insights projects at the Tech Center in Sheboygan Falls, WI. You will join a team-based environment that values growth, learning and real project contributions.

You will work under Product Development scientists, gaining hands-on experience and collaborating with Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality to develop new product platforms and line extensions

Qualifications

• Candidate must currently be working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Meat Science or Food Science from an accredited university; junior or senior status preferred
• 3.5 minimum GPA strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop Project Vision, Objective(s), Scope, and Deliverables
• Plan project activities and develop timelines
• Work on cross-functional teams and work independently
• Assist in pilot plant trials and plant trials
• Maintain accurate and complete work records such as a notebook and status reports
• Share your ideas, questions, problems, and results with other team members
