Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Sr. Manager, Strategic R&D Operations to partner with the VP of R&D and lead cross-functional initiatives across global teams. You will drive strategic planning, execution, and performance reporting to advance the Dental Solutions roadmap.

The role requires strong business acumen, organizational agility, and the ability to influence without direct authority in a matrixed environment. Hybrid work with travel to Eagan hub is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Science or a related discipline AND 10 years of experience in R&D, Operations, Engineering, PMO, Strategy or Business Management.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and supporting senior leaders in a matrixed environment.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Science or related discipline; regulated industry experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Partner with VP of R&D and Dental Solutions R&D leadership to advance strategic priorities, annual plans and objectives.
• Translate strategy into action by leading cross-functional initiatives and operating model improvements.
• Lead business reviews, metrics and executive reporting for visibility and accountability.
• Support financial planning, resource allocation, investment prioritization and lab capability planning.
• Align leaders and global teams to drive operational excellence.
