Job summary

Anthropic seeks a Strategic Sourcing Business Partner to own the commercial side of HDO and R&D vendor relationships. You will lead negotiations, drive contract templates, and oversee performance post-signing, moving fluidly between deal terms and partnership execution.

You will collaborate with Legal, Finance, Strategy, and Security to optimize pricing, terms, and compliance while shaping an AI-native sourcing function for the future.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in strategic sourcing, category or vendor management, or commercial negotiation in services.
• Hands-on contract experience with MSAs and SOWs; ability to craft templates.
• Proven track record leading multi-million dollar services negotiations.
• Strong analytical skills: rate/unit-cost analysis, TCO modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own commercial redlines for HDO and R&D services agreements including MSAs, SOWs, and renewals.
• Build and maintain template libraries (MSA/SOW, pricing exhibits, SLA schedules).
• Manage renewal calendar; prevent unintended auto-renewals and lapses.
• Lead pricing negotiations across portfolio; align with business strategy and SLAs.
• Develop playbooks and Claude-powered tools for negotiation prep and benchmarking.
• Design flexible pricing models and track cost savings and term improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships through QBRs, scorecards, and escalation processes.
