Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Corporate Development Sourcing Lead to drive the front-end of our strategic transactions practice, identifying targets, investments, and partnerships. You will build a rigorous pipeline, work with senior leaders, and develop analytical frameworks to guide growth decisions.

Responsibilities include deep-dive evaluations, memos for senior review, and cultivating relationships across the AI ecosystem while shaping Anthropic’s strategic trajectory.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years in corporate development, investment banking, venture capital or strategy consulting.
• Direct AI/ML company experience or deep learning environment preferred.
• MBA or advanced technical degree advantageous.
• Established network in AI startup and VC communities.
• Strong quantitative skills with financial modeling capability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a structured pipeline of acquisition targets, strategic investments, and partnerships.
• Translate strategic priorities into sourcing criteria and target profiles with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct deep-dive strategic evaluations of targets, including competitive positioning and fit with roadmap.
• Prepare investment memos and briefings for senior leadership.
• Develop financial models and valuation frameworks to support deal decisions.
• Cultivate relationships with founders, investors, and operators across the AI ecosystem.
• Support due diligence and transaction execution with cross-functional teams.
