Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte, NC seeks a Specialist Professional (P4) to lead complex R&D and Mods & Upgrades projects within the Large Generators Engineering PMO. You will own scope, schedule and budget, and drive development of competitive products and services.

Required: engineering BS, 4+ years in technical PM, PMP preferred, familiarity with MS Project and PDP, and strong risk management. This role focuses on delivering high-impact energy tech solutions with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• PMP certification preferred.
• BS in Engineering is required; MS preferred.
• 4+ years of technical project management experience in R&D or heavy engineering.
• Proficient in scoping, scheduling, budgeting and both Agile & Waterfall methods.
• Strong risk, change, and asset management skills.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex R&D and Mods & Upgrades projects with full scope, schedule and budget responsibility.
• Engage partners to define project scope and targets with Product Management alignment.
• Create and track project plans using MS Project and Concerto, manage PDP workflow.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and customer satisfaction across interfaces.
• Communicate status and risks; secure timely decisions on open issues.
