Job summary

Siemens is seeking an experienced R&D Project Manager to join our global R&D organization in Wendell, NC. You will support design leaders, define, plan, and manage R&D projects through all development phases. The role requires 7+ years in project management within R&D or engineering, with familiarity of MS Project, Agile, and SAP. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, risks, and deliverables in a matrixed, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management or technical field.
• 7+ years of project management experience in R&D/product development/engineering.
• 4+ years of experience with project management tools and methodologies (MS Project, Agile, SAP).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Define, plan, and manage R&D projects through all development phases.
• Oversee scope, timeline, milestones and budget for successful delivery.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects across product groups in medium/low voltage domains.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure clear stakeholder communication.
• Identify risks early; raise issues and drive resolution.
• Facilitate meetings, reporting, and project reviews to align with global R&D goals.
