Job summary

Scientific Applications & Research Associates, Inc. (SARA) in Colorado Springs is seeking a Program Manager to lead multiple R&D programs for DoD/DoE and contractors.

You will coordinate cost, schedule, and tasking, guiding engineers, scientists, and technicians toward timely, high-quality deliverables. You will champion cross-functional collaboration, communicate milestones clearly, and manage vendor and sponsor relationships, ensuring product reliability and seamless support for end-user

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of program management experience.
• US Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work in diverse team.
• Experience with government contracting and related tools (Costpoint, ProPricer).

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost, schedule, and tasking for multiple R&D programs in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to meet program milestones and deliverables.
• Interface with customers, technical leads, and engineering teams to align objectives.
• Provide program updates, proposals, and risk assessments to leadership.
• Ensure alignment with customer requirements and evolving scopes.
