Job summary

TE Connectivity Corporation is seeking a Rotational R&D/Product Development Engineer in Middletown, PA. You will design and develop robust interconnect solutions for aerospace, defense and marine applications, engaging in the full product development lifecycle from market definition to production release.

You will apply fundamentals in materials science, mechanics, and electrical theory, perform analyses (FEA) and prototype development, and collaborate with global teams to ensure

Qualifications

• Pursuing or enrolled in BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Internship, major project, or relevant extracurricular engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with CAD/CAE tools such as PTC Creo, SolidWorks, or ANSYS.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering fundamentals to real-world product environments.
• Conduct engineering analysis and simulation (FEA, tolerance, stress analyses).
• Leverage manufacturing technologies to develop prototypes and accelerate design iteration.
• Develop and execute product validation and qualification plans (DVT, QTP).
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, reliability and cost effectiveness.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for product issues.
• Drive innovation through new connector architectures, termination technologies and design concepts.
• Strengthen communication, problem-solving and project execution in a fast-paced engineering environment.
