Job summary

TE Connectivity's Advanced Solutions Team seeks an experienced R&D/Product Development Technician IV to advance design, prototyping, and testing of innovative products. You will create CAD models, 3D drawings, and support from development through validation.

You will work closely with engineers to refine layouts, validate designs, and ensure parts meet tolerances while contributing to rapid prototyping efforts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in mechanical design or related field.
• 6+ years in mechanical design or product development.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools.
• Collaborate with engineers to layout, design, and detail components to meet objectives.
• Update mechanical drawings and implement process engineering changes.
• Perform tolerance analysis and dimensional checks.
• Support prototype fabrication and coordination.
• Perform verification testing and report results.
• Work under minimal supervision.
