Job summary

TE Connectivity in Middletown, PA, seeks a Rotational Engineer for the North America Connectors team within the Aerospace, Defense & Marine unit to design robust interconnect solutions for aerospace and defense environments.

You will experience the full product development lifecycle from market definition through production release, collaborating with global teams and applying CAD/CAE tools to accelerate design iterations and validation efforts.

Qualifications

Pursuing a BA/BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience with CAD/CAE tools via internship, project, or coursework.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Show initiative and professional work ethic.

Responsibilities

Apply engineering fundamentals to real-world aerospace interconnect environments.
Perform analysis and simulation (FEA, tolerance analysis, stress analysis) to refine designs.
Develop prototypes to accelerate design iteration.
Create and execute validation plans (DVT, QTP) including mechanical, environmental, vibration, shock and life-cycle testing.
Collaborate with global teams to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and cost targets.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for issues.
Drive innovation in connector architectures and materials.
