Job summary

TE Connectivity invites you to join the Aerospace Defense & Marine Business Unit as an Intern in Carpinteria, CA. You will work with seasoned Product Engineers and participate on cross-functional teams to support design, manufacturing and testing efforts.

You will help with data collection and analysis, drive process improvements, and contribute to safer, higher quality delivery. TE offers mentoring, development resources, and an engaging internship program that runs May through August.

Qualifications

• Have received a High School Diploma or GED.
• Are currently enrolled in a program or pursuing a BA/BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university or have equivalent work history.
• In certain circumstances, students who are taking a gap year will be considered.
• Have previous internship or large project experience is preferred.
• Are authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support Engineering with data collection and analysis.
• Lead, or participate in, cross-functional projects to address and resolve testing/manufacturing issues, regarding the sustaining and continuous improvement of processes and methods to improve safety, quality, and delivery.
• Create/Improve testing/manufacturing process documentation.
