Job summary

PepsiCo in Plano/DFW area seeks an equipment operator to support R&D by operating food processing equipment across multiple platforms. You will set up lines, troubleshoot issues, and maintain documentation for safety and quality.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, flexibility to work at Plano Process Lab and Dallas Technology Process Center, and collaboration with engineers and scientists to achieve development objectives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; an Associate Technical Degree is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing/production or R&D testing centers, preferably in food industry.
• Able to operate, set up, and troubleshoot food processing equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work off-shifts, weekends, and flex between Dallas-area sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for R&D product development teams.
• Operate equipment in Plano Process Lab or Technology Process Center.
• Minimize downtime to meet daily development objectives.
• Maintain run data sheets and safety/food safety records.
• Collaborate with R&D engineers and scientists to meet test objectives.
