Job summary

Bausch + Lomb seeks a Director to lead the R&D Global Portfolio and Project Management (GPPM) team, overseeing a portfolio of development projects in a designated business vertical. You will drive governance, valuation, global registrations, and launches while mentoring GPPM staff and shaping strategic initiatives across R&D.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will apply financial acumen, cross-functional collaboration, and strong project management to optimize value and time‑to‑market.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Science or Engineering required or equivalent.
• Advanced degree in science, engineering or business preferred.
• PMP certification a plus; Agile experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of R&D project managers and coordinators.
• Oversee portfolio governance and ensure project execution across development stages.
• Mentor GPPM staff and drive process improvements across R&D functions.
• Coordinate with HR to attract and retain top talent and foster a high-performance culture.
• Manage cross-functional collaboration to align projects with strategic objectives.
