Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Director to lead the R&D Global Portfolio and Project Management team, overseeing a portfolio of development projects across Vision Care, Surgical, or Pharmaceuticals/Consumer segments. You will mentor staff, drive governance, and ensure successful execution from concept through launch.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Medical Device/Pharma industry experience.
• 10+ years of R&D project management and leadership.
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of project managers to ensure successful execution of projects and programs.
• Mentor GPPM staff and lead strategic initiatives across the broader R&D organization.
• Ensure program alignment with strategic objectives through governance, tools, and standards.
• Develop global product development strategies and governance for portfolio oversight.
• Manage budgets, resources, and timelines; drive risk and contingency planning.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMPs, design control, EHS, and regulatory requirements.
