Job summary

Dow is seeking a Junior R&D / Pilot Plant Technician to support our research and development activities in Freeport, TX and South Charleston, WV. You will help operate and troubleshoot pilot plant and laboratory equipment, generate samples and high-quality data, and work with scientists and engineers to advance new products and processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, monitor, and support R&D pilot plant and lab equipment.
• Perform routine operational and laboratory activities and data collection.
• Execute experiments and provide samples and results to researchers and engineers.
• Develop familiarity with equipment, test methods, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure data quality and adherence to safety standards.
• Support preventative maintenance and equipment improvements.
