Dow is seeking an R&D Engineering Specialist for its Collegeville, PA pilot facility. The role focuses on emulsion polymerization chemistry, processing, and engineering fundamentals, supporting daily operations, maintenance, and data-driven development of new processes.

You will lead capability improvements, manage instrumentation and digital assets, and mentor team members while coordinating with cross-functional groups across Dow’s Coating Materials R&D.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or related science required.
• Legal right to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship).
• Experience with Emerson DeltaV and process automation preferred.

Mansioni

• Develop and apply knowledge in emulsion polymerization chemistry, processing, and engineering fundamentals.
• Support uninterrupted function of all pilot facility assets–equipment, instrumentation, and digital assets.
• Lead daily pilot plant operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including emulsion polymerization experiments and data analysis.
• Develop expertise in DeltaV process control, troubleshooting, and programming.
• Maintain P&IDs, SOPs, and facility documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team.
