Job summary

Dow is seeking a Research & Development/Technical Service & Development Technician to provide hands-on technical support across research, product development, analytical testing, and pilot plant activities. Location options include Freeport, TX; Midland, MI; Auburn, MI; Collegeville, PA; or Virtual Office in the United States.

You will work with scientists and engineers to safely perform experiments, analyze data, and help advance new products and processes while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• Minimum a High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of lab/technical experience OR an Associate's degree in a relevant science/tech field.
• U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift and in lab/pilot plant environments.

Responsibilities

• Support scientists, engineers, technicians and other stakeholders in development, testing, and commercialization of products and processes.
• Safely prepare, conduct, monitor and document laboratory experiments and analytical tests.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Develop experimental plans and execute approved tests.
• Collect, organize, analyze and archive data with appropriate software.
