Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechatronics or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in an R&D lab, rapid-prototyping shop, or precision manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read complex mechanical drawings, GD&T, and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency with precision metrology tools (calipers, micrometers).

Responsibilities

• Prototyping & machining: set up and operate CNC/manual machine shop tools to fabricate high‑precision prototype parts.
• PCB rework, assembly, and testing: perform high‑reliability PCB rework and electrical debugging.
• Testing & validation: conduct reliability and environmental tests and document reports.
• NPI & production support: bridge between R&D and Manufacturing for smooth handoffs.
• Lab management: maintain the R&D lab, manage consumables, and keep equipment ready.
