Job summary

Temposonics, LLC, a global leader in sensing technology, seeks a Mechanical Engineer in North Carolina to strengthen our market leadership through customer‑focused, cost‑aware mechanical design of sensor housings and components.

You will lead NPI efforts, perform advanced analysis (FEA/thermal), prototype, and guide DV testing while coordinating with vendors and manufacturing to ensure DFx and manufacturability. Strong GD&T and ISO 9001 discipline are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with NPI projects and sensor packaging is a plus.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and ISO standards.
• Proven CAD modeling and design for manufacturability experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical component design for sensors and housings.
• Conduct advanced analysis and prototyping; perform DV testing planning.
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturing for DFx and prototyping.
• Ensure design compliance with ASME Y14.5 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Support internal and external technical stakeholders with documentation.
