Job summary

ifm prover USA in Malvern, PA is seeking a Mechanical Technician to support development and production of temperature and flow sensor products across the US.

You will work with the development team, perform rapid prototyping, lead mechanical tests, provide CAD support, and coordinate with manufacturing to bring designs to production. A 2-year degree and hands-on mechanical experience are required; advanced CAD and GD&T are a plus. Competitive benefits included.

Responsibilities

• Support Mechanical Development Team with new product development projects.
• Assist with rapid prototyping and coordinate prototype manufacturing to progress designs through sample stages and testing.
• Lead all mechanical verification tests and investigate root causes of failures.
• Provide CAD support, creating part models, drawings, and documentation packages for new electro-mechanical sensor products.
• Maintain functionality of mechanical testing machines and associated documentation.
• Coordinate with in-house manufacturing team to bring products to full production.
