Job summary

Radiance Technologies is seeking an R&D Mechanical Engineer to support programs within the Scientific and Technical Intelligence Group. You will design, develop, and test mechanical and thermal systems for circuit card assemblies, working closely with electrical and computer engineers in a lab setting.

Responsibilities include first-principles analyses, multidisciplinary collaboration, and producing detailed technical documentation.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Minimum 3.2 GPA (out of 4.0) and GPA listed on resume.
• 2+ years of mechanical engineering in lab/R&D/test/prototyping environments (Master's can substitute).
• Self-motivated and able to work within a research and development team.
• Hands-on prototyping experience via design/build/fly, Formula SAE, CubeSat or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and integration of mechanical and thermal systems for circuit card assemblies.
• Conduct analyses of complex problems using first principles.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary projects and produce technical documentation.
• Collaborate with electrical and computer engineers and technicians in a lab setting.
