Job summary

RCT Systems, Power Systems Division, seeks Senior Mechanical Engineers focused on 3D electronics packaging, thermal system design, and hardware build/test. You will package power converters, design cooling for high-performance electronics, and perform structural and thermal analyses.

Strong candidates will lead cross-functional teams, create production drawings, and assist with business development efforts. A BS in mechanical engineering and DoD clearance ability are required.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical engineering is required; graduate work acceptable in lieu of some experience.
• Experience with thermal management for power electronics.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and perform structural/thermal analyses.

Responsibilities

• Package complex power converters, energy storage, and PLC systems.
• Design thermal management systems for power electronics.
• Perform structural analysis for components and ruggedized enclosures.
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop solid-state power conversion systems.
• Prepare technical presentations and design reviews for customers.
