Job summary

HOYA Vision Care in Ramsey, MN seeks a Process Technician to support R&D lens coating and polymer processing. You will prepare coatings, operate dip-coating and curing steps, document results, and troubleshoot process variation under guidance from scientists and engineers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical aptitude.
• Experience in lab, manufacturing, coating, or chemical processing preferred.
• Ability to handle chemicals safely and operate lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support hard coat and dip-coating processes.
• Prepare and handle coating solutions and formulations.
• Set up and adjust coating equipment to meet experiments.
• Document process parameters and results for traceability.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers on experiments.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and equipment upkeep.
