Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Minnesota is seeking an Associate Technician responsible for the set-up, operation, and basic maintenance of production equipment in the lab's finish areas. The role emphasizes compliant execution of procedures and attention to safety rules.

You will interpret Rx work orders, perform routine calibration, troubleshoot issues, and train less experienced staff while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment within the assigned area.
• Interpret Rx work tickets and follow established procedures.
• Perform daily/weekly calibration of equipment as directed by supervision.
• Troubleshoot mal-functioning equipment and advise supervisor on remedies.
• Provide training and technical guidance for less experienced employees.
