Job summary

Vantive is seeking a lab-focused professional to perform diverse research and development tasks, conduct analyses, and ensure quality control of processes and products. You will write reports, troubleshoot instruments, and maintain lab equipment, training others as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma (AA degree preferred) and 5+ years in related field, with familiarity in FDA Design Controls and ISO 13485, plastics processing, and associated manufacturing methods.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; AA degree preferred.
• 5+ years of related field experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Experience with test method development and data analysis.
• Working knowledge of FDA Design Controls and ISO 13485.
• Experience with disposables R&D/manufacturing.
• Experience with plastics processing and secondary operations ( extrusion, injection molding, solvent bonding, RF welding ).

Responsibilities

• Write experimental reports, summaries and protocols.
• Develop and maintain record keeping for experiments performed.
• Perform troubleshooting and calibration of instruments.
• Apply advanced techniques to assigned projects under minimal supervision.
• Set up, acquire and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
• Train other lab personnel on equipment and procedures.
• Perform a wide variety of research and development tasks per company procedures.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory levels.
• Build engineering prototypes.
• Work with suppliers and procurement to obtain samples and products.
