Job summary

Aditi Consulting is seeking a Lab Technician to initiate and coordinate new product initiatives in our lab, working with the R&D team to create prototypes and manage batch records. You will maintain lab materials, prepare samples for distribution, and ensure a clean, compliant work area.

The role requires following SOPs and cGMP procedures, tasting prototypes when required, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; some college in science is a plus.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in food preparation/food industry (preferably confectionary).

Responsibilities

• Organize daily activities based on business priorities from R&D scientists or R&D Laboratory Technician.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, equipment, and samples in all R&D areas according to procedures.
• Maintain lab and project documentation.
• Keep a clean, organized lab environment including supplies inventory and maintenance.
• Prepare samples for shipment to customers.
• Create bench-top samples for presentations to customers while considering plant process capabilities.
• Follow GMPs and Health and Safety rules.
• Use required PPE.
• Participate in training as needed.
• Familiarity with barcode scanners and warehouse inventory systems is a plus.
• Read and follow SOP and cGMP procedures.
• Taste prototype products and participate in taste panels when needed.
