Job summary

ICU Medical, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician to support R&D with prototyping, testing, data analysis, and documentation in a dynamic lab setting.

This entry-level role involves working with engineers to build test fixtures, run protocols, inspect products, and ensure safety and organization in the lab. Candidates should be comfortable with basic mechanical concepts, reading drawings, and communicating effectively in a team.

Qualifications

• Familiar with mechanical concepts and basic engineering vocabulary.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and related docs.
• Familiarity with Minitab or basic statistics terms.
• Knowledge of GMP/FDA/ISO 9001 principles and lean concepts.
• Solid organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lab, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
• Supports 6S and lean initiatives in the laboratories.
• Supports process improvements and lab maintenance.
• Prepares worksheets for data collection and analyzes test data.
• Coordinates with manufacturing trials, sterilization, and aging studies.
• Develops, documents, and validates test methods.
• Performs test protocols and records information.
• Builds prototype samples for development purposes.
