Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking a Product Development Technician for its Brea, CA facility. You will contribute to routine technical tasks, support product development, and work closely with engineers and project leaders to deliver results.

The role requires a high school diploma, 4–6 years in a lab setting, and ability to follow written procedures; a BS in a technical field is preferred, with 1–2 years in R&D or a lab recommended. This is a contract position with in-person interview.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 4–6 years of experience in a laboratory environment (corporate or academic) or technician experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience following written procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Gather, maintain, format, and compile technical data from laboratory tests and engineering changes.
• Prepare engineering documents, reports, and drawings, including flow charts and schematics.
• Conduct testing and execute assigned technical tasks under supervision.
• Provide technical support to engineers and assist in equipment scoping and qualification.
• Help maintain laboratory functions: calibration, safety procedures, and routine maintenance.
