Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to engineers and assist in equipment scoping and qualification.
• Help maintain laboratory functions: calibration, safety procedures, and routine maintenance.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Product Development Technician for our Brea, CA facility. This person will contribute to the completion of routine technical tasks and develop solutions to routine technical problems within a specified scope. The role works closely with engineers, project leaders, and other technical professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data, including laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.
• Prepare engineering documents, reports, and drawings, including flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics.
• Prepare reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis.
• Complete assigned technical tasks.
• Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of technical activities.Assist with scoping equipment for use and completing equipment qualifications.
• Support general laboratory functions, including:
  • Equipment calibration
  • Safety procedure implementation
  • Routine equipment maintenance
• Notify the manager or team lead when identifying factors that may affect a project.
• Assist in developing prototype processes and test setups.
• Execute designed test protocols and conduct testing.
• Accurately document and communicate test results.
• Handle test samples and chemicals used for conditioning and testing.
• High school diploma required.
