Job summary

Our client in the medical technology sector seeks a Product Development Technician II to join the R&D Lab Testing team in Brea, CA. Competitive pay and a collaborative environment with engineers across disciplines are offered.

You will support lab operations, run testing protocols, collect data, and document findings, while helping with qualification, calibration, and weekly progress. This role advances testing, validation, and prototyping skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 4-6 years of laboratory or technician experience in a regulated environment; Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
• Experience following written procedures, SOPs, test methods, and engineering instructions.
• Hands-on experience performing testing, data collection, and technical documentation.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience supporting laboratory, R&D, product development, manufacturing, or medical device environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers with product development, laboratory testing, and prototype activities.
• Execute test protocols, collect technical data, and document results accurately.
• Assist with equipment qualification, calibration, maintenance, and laboratory operations.
• Compile, analyze, and prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, and test summaries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development projects in a regulated environment.
