Perform duties in various settings within CTK OTC Laboratories, focusing on the development of new products and technologies. Create and improve products, ideas, processes, protocols, techniques, and systems to support CTK OTC Laboratories' goals.

Duties & Responsibilities: Frequency (Daily, Weekly, Monthly)
- Prepare lab batches based on formulas provided by chemists.
- Match color to benchmarks when required.
- Clean laboratory equipment and maintain a tidy lab environment.
- Assist chemists daily as needed.
- Check lab supplies and prepare purchase requests.
- Perform laboratory testing methods such as viscosity, pH, melting point, hardness, specific gravity, and others.
- Prepare lab samples for shipping, including sample information, submission sheets, and ingredient lists.
- Maintain accurate lab records.
- Perform testing and calibration of lab equipment.
- Monitor stability testing for products in R&D at various temperatures.
- Organize raw materials and inventory.
- Attend pilot batch checks and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, label, and create product samples according to protocols and project specs.
- Follow SOPs and safety guidelines to ensure sample integrity.
- Measure and record data accurately, maintain sample logs, and perform basic tests like pH and Brix.
- Perform lab maintenance tasks, including cleaning and waste disposal.
- Manage raw materials and sample inventories.
- Submit samples for testing as required.
- Collaborate with R&D team to meet deadlines and adapt to project needs.
- Report issues to the R&D Manager.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in sample prep or quality control preferred.
- Attention to detail and adherence to protocols.
- Good communication skills; ability to work independently or in a team.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and tracking.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
Certifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher in a scientific field preferred, not required.
- Industry-related certifications encouraged (e.g., Lab Technician, Project Management).
Skills and Knowledge:
- Self-motivated with high energy and enthusiasm.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
