Job summary

Bio-Techne Corp. is seeking a dedicated R&D Lab Manager to oversee reagent inventories, instrument maintenance, and a compliant, organized lab space. The role requires collaboration with R&D, EH&S, and operations to address operational needs and drive process improvements.

You will support onboarding, training, and documentation while upholding safety and quality systems. A BS with biology background and industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. in molecular biology, cell biology, life sciences, or related field.
• B.S. with 5+ years industry experience, or M.S. with 2+ years of industry experience preferred.
• Experience with standard cell and molecular biology techniques and basic statistical analysis.
• Ability to execute projects with minimal supervision and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain laboratory equipment, including upkeep, service coordination, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Maintain inventories of reagents, consumables, and lab supplies.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organized laboratory environment and general housekeeping.
• Coordinate onboarding and training for new personnel and ensure adherence to lab procedures.
• Partner with R&D leadership, EH&S, Operations, and cross-functional teams to support compliant lab operations.
