Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, molecular biology or a related life science field.
• 2+ years of formal lab management or operations experience.
• Hands-on experience with BSL-2 lab management, EHS compliance, chemical hygiene and biosafety protocols.
• Direct experience with lab procurement, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and facility operations.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the BSL-2 laboratory and ensure OSHA/EHS compliance.
• Develop and maintain a culture of safety through training and procedures.
• Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations for R&D reagents and materials; coordinate with procurement, logistics and finance.
• Act as point-of-contact for outside agencies; coordinate with landlords and service vendors.
• Oversee inventory management and procurement support to ensure essential lab supplies.
• Provide on-site purchasing, receiving, and procurement support.
