Broadcom in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced ASIC engineer to lead design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development. You will define architecture, logic, and system simulation, and contribute to complex IC layout and cross-functional collaboration.

Requires a Bachelor's in Engineering/CS with 5+ years of related experience, or a Master's/PhD with fewer years. Eligible for discretionary bonus and equity awards as part of compensation.

Job Description

Idesigns and develops integrated circuits. Oversees definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development. Determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation. Defines module interfaces/formats for simulation. Contributes to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits. Evaluates all aspects of the process flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use. Analyzes equipment to establish operation data, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results. May also review vendor capability to support development. - Knowledge: A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is USD 91,100.00 To USD 146,000.00
