Job summary

Yoh is seeking a Harness Fabrication Technician in the Pittsburgh area to build harnesses and assemblies for self-driving technology. You will work in R&D spaces, reading wiring schematics and performing PCB assembly with strong documentation practices.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in harness fabrication, excellent electrical skills, and fluency with Jira/Confluence/PLM/CAD tools, enabling independent and team collaboration in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years direct experience in harness fabrication for R&D/prototype spaces.
• Ability to read wiring schematics and layouts and communicate with EDS design engineers.
• Strong background in electrical wiring, harness building, and surface-mount circuit board assembly.
• Understanding of electrical tools and equipment; crimpers, dies, multimeter, presses, connectors, contacts, wire gauges/types, soldering, microscope.
• Exceptional craftsmanship with the ability to pin out and quality test harnesses/circuit boards.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, PLM, CAD and related software.
• Excellent communication skills and self awareness.
• Ability to problem-solve, diagnose, analyze and isolate problems rationally.
• Proficiency with Windows and Google productivity Suite - Sheets.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Approach work with a proactive, capable, and willingness attitude to solve problems and support peers.
• Ability to multitask under pressure in an unstructured environment.
