Job summary

Yoh Services LLC is seeking a Harness Fabrication Technician to support R&D and prototype efforts in Pittsburgh, PA. You will build harnesses and PCBA assemblies for self-driving technology, maintain meticulous documentation, and collaborate with Hardware Engineering teams to meet safety and project deadlines.

We value strong electrical skills, hands-on harness wiring experience, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of direct harness fabrication experience in R&D/prototype spaces.
• Ability to read wiring schematics and layouts, and redline drawings.
• Strong electrical wiring knowledge and harness building experience.
• Proficiency with electrical tools and equipment (crimpers, multimeter, soldering, etc.).
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, PLM, CAD and related software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; proactive problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, under pressure.

Harness Fabrication Technician

In this role, you will:

• Work as a R&D Technician buildingself-driving technology – this includes vehicle build, sub-assembly, PCBA solder/rework, and harness build/assembly
• Candidates must possess excellent documentation practices
• Work closely with Hardware Engineering and associated teams
• Follow safety standards and meet internal deadlines
• Work with limited oversight
• Seek continuing education and development opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in harness fabrication using 1:1 form boards and various tooling in R&D and prototype spaces
• Strong electrical skills, ability to read wiring schematics and layouts, redline drawings, and communicate with EDS design engineers
• Strong background in electrical wiring, harness building, and surface-mount circuit board assembly
• Strong understanding of electrical tools and equipment; crimpers, dies, multimeter, presses, connectors, contacts, wire gauges/types, soldering, microscope, etc.
• Exceptional craftsmanship with the ability to pin out and quality test harnesses/circuit boards
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, PLM, CAD, and various other software tools
• Must possess excellent communication skills and self awareness
• Ability to problem-solve, diagnose, analyze and isolate problems rationally
• Proficiency with Windows and Google productivity Suite – specifically Sheets
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Approach work with a proactive, capable, and willingness attitude to solve problems and support peers
• Ability to multitask under pressure in an unstructured environment

• IPC J-STD-001
• IPC-A-600
• IPC-A-610
• IPC/WHMA-A-620
• IPC-7711/7721
• Certification and training in GD&T

Estimated Min Rate: $40.00
