Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to oversee Externals, Portfolio, and consolidated R&D financial processes. You will drive monthly close, planning, and governance, shaping decision support materials for senior leaders.

In this role, you will lead Power BI visualizations, coordinate with Finance Directors, and ensure accurate reflection of financials and timelines across R&D. A CPA/MBA is a plus and 7–10 years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or MBA a plus.
• 7-10 years of progressive related experience.
• Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with ability to operate independently and drive processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Externals Spend monthly, quarterly and annual Plan, LRP and LBEs.
• Design and build R&D visualization in Power BI for Externals and Portfolio views.
• Prepare executive level financial materials to drive decision making.
• Collaborate with Finance Directors to ensure accurate reflecting financials.
