Job summary

Restaurant365 is seeking a highly motivated FP&A Manager to partner with R&D leadership (Engineering, Product, DevOps) on planning, budgeting, forecasting and cost optimization. You will own headcount, opex, and COGS models for a multi-tenant SaaS platform, delivering insights to senior leaders and supporting exec-level reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of FP&A, finance, or related experience supporting an R&D/Engineering or Product org.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or related field.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, and spend management systems (e.g., Aleph, Sage Intacct, Salesforce, Ramp).
• Experience with AI tools to build and manage complex financial models (Claude, ChatGPT).
• Advanced Excel and ability to present to executives.
• SaaS/software industry familiarity and cloud cost awareness.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into financial terms and drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with R&D leadership for planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Build and maintain R&D headcount and opex models, including hiring plans.
• Create scenario/sensitivity analyses to evaluate investments.
• Own monthly budget-to-actual and forecast variance analyses.
• Forecast hosting costs (Azure/AWS) and drive cost optimization.
• Own COGS model for multi-tenant SaaS; develop unit economics.
• Build business cases connecting tech investment to margins and payback.
• Forecast AI tooling spend and licensing strategies.
• Deliver timely R&D financial reporting, dashboards, and executive analyses.
• Apply AI tools to accelerate analysis and validate outputs.
