Job summary

HappyGlobal Service seeks a hands-on R&D Engineer to support vehicle data collection, 3D scanning, prototype installation, and validation for the U.S. market. You will handle field testing, technical documentation, and coordination of local product requirements.

The role focuses on collecting engineering data, identifying fitment issues, and communicating findings clearly to engineering and product teams. Expect cross-functional collaboration and rigorous validation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering background in mechanical or automotive fields.
• Experience with vehicle systems or physical product development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review vehicle and product development requirements and develop data collection plans.
• Perform 3D scanning of target pickup trucks and relevant areas; generate STP/STEP files for engineering use.
• Install and evaluate 3D-printed prototypes on vehicles; document deviations and improvements.
• Install production-intent prototypes on vehicles and conduct functional checks.
• Capture photos and videos during installation and validation; organize records for review.
• Coordinate US market requirements; liaise with testing labs and external resources.
• Track technical and compliance items through to completion.
