Job summary

TRATON USA’s R&D team is seeking an Engineer with validation and testing experience. The role involves handling test requests, collaborating in cross‑functional meetings, and analyzing materials or fastener related problems.

Ideal candidate has 1–2 years of validation engineering experience in automotive, commercial, or off‑road industries, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Strong communication is essential; travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Internship or other experience in a lab or testing environment.
• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science is required.

Responsibilities

• Independent work in the core area of responsibility for the Material Laboratories and team.
• Apply knowledge of engineering basics to engineering, testing, innovation, manufacturing, and outside test services.
• Contribute to internal queries and research projects.
• Evolve material engineering procedures and specifications in area of responsibility.
• Support development of the material engineering specifications, procedures, and standards for all International.
• Domestic and international travel is required 10% of the time.
