Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Research & Development Engineering Intern to support design, testing, and continuous improvement of products and processes in a fast‑paced engineering environment.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, analyze data, and gain hands‑on experience across product development, prototyping, and documentation while applying solid engineering principles and best practices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, material science, or related technical field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering software tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with product design, prototyping, testing, and validation activities for new and existing products.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support research, product development, and continuous improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including test plans, reports, specifications, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to evaluate and implement design improvements.
• Participate in problem‑solving activities, root cause investigations, and innovation projects while applying engineering principles and industry best practices.
