Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. is seeking an R&D Engineering Intern to support design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of products and processes at the Green Bay facility.

This role offers hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and contribute to innovation in a fast-paced engineering environment. The student will assist with prototyping, data analysis, and documentation while gaining exposure to real-world manufacturing and product

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, material science, or a related technical field; strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering software tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers with product design, prototyping, testing, and validation activities for new and existing products.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support research, product development, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including test plans, reports, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to evaluate and implement design improvements.
  • Participate in problem-solving activities, root cause investigations, and innovation projects while applying engineering principles and industry best practices.

Position Overview

The Research & Development Engineering Intern supports the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of products and processes. Responsibilities
