Job summary

XP Power is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support the development and delivery of switch-mode power supplies used in industrial, healthcare and technology applications.

You will test, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair AC-DC and DC-DC power supplies, build prototypes to documentation, and work closely with engineers to achieve optimal solutions in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronic engineering or related technical discipline is required.
• Knowledge of AC-DC and DC-DC power conversion topologies (flyback, forward, boost, buck, buck-boost).
• Proficiency with lab equipment for characterization of power supplies (oscilloscopes, DMMs, EMI analyzers, loads, sources).
• Experience with high voltage systems and firmware debugging is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical design, development and delivery of switch-mode power supplies for Industrial, Healthcare and Technology applications.
• Test, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair AC-DC and DC-DC power supplies.
• Build prototypes to documentation and collaborate with design engineers to achieve optimal solutions.
• Perform fault reproduction, system characterization, and root cause analysis.
• Assist in new product development during qualification phase.
