XP Power Ltd in Irvine, CA is seeking an electrical engineer to support the design, development and delivery of switch‑mode power supplies for Industrial, Healthcare and Tech applications. The role involves testing, troubleshooting and prototyping to meet XP Core Values.

You will work with a cross‑functional team of engineers to optimize topologies and characterize performance, build breadboards, perform fault isolation and contribute to new product qualifications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or related discipline.
• Knowledge of AC-DC and DC-DC topologies (flyback, forward, boost, buck).
• Experience with lab equipment for power-supply characterization.
• HV systems experience is a plus.
• Good written and spoken English communication.

Responsabilités

• Support design and development of switch‑mode power supplies.
• Build prototypes and test to documentation.
• Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis on product issues.
• Collaborate with design engineers across functions to optimize solutions.
