Job summary

Energy Control Technologies, Inc. (ECT) is seeking an R&D Engineer to architect and deliver sophisticated control systems across hardware platforms.

You will design logic sequences, write PLC/DCS code, and develop operator interfaces using standard HMI tools. You will read P&IDs and logic diagrams to bridge mechanical and digital systems, ensuring robust, scalable control architectures for energy production applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (various) accepted, preference for Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Chemical or Aerospace.
• Experience with computer systems and software programming methods.

Responsibilities

• Design logic sequences and write PLC and DCS codes for various hardware platforms.
• Build intuitive, modern HMIs.
• Design and develop control architectures to solve industrial challenges.
• Read and interpret control narratives, P&IDs and logic diagrams to bridge mechanical and digital systems.
